Subject: Arrived Baghdad

Hi,

Have arrived in Baghdad. Flew in middle of night on C130. Got to ride in Cockpit. Amazing experience. Pilot was a good friend of Rainer's back home (they both fly for Kenmore Air). What a small world. Came in 'blacked out' using night vision to see runway. Did 2G bank then hit ground 5 seconds later. Glad I was in cockpit, sense it seemed like a cool ride from that vantage point. Guys in back did not have as pleasant an experience.

Later same day, another plane was hit with missile coming in to same place. landed safely.
