Hymn of Faith

Hymn of Faith
Rays of light awake as they dance
with the morning waves.
Evening fog slowly rolls back to its trees,
the shores jagged edge, now apparent.
Wind, sweet with thought,
Quietly blows its hymn of faith.
Old, gray rails relieve me of my burden,
the weight of my existence
now rests.
Like a child’s first step…
My heart yearns to sing.
Wind, sweet with thought,
Gently blows Her hymn of faith.
Alone, She relieves me of my burden,
the weight of Our existence
now rest… peaceful.
Like a child’s first words…
Our hearts begin to sing.
Moon beams decent as they flicker
off the evenings glass.
Fog weaves its way through the trees,
as it blankets the shore.
