New World

Winters wind swept shores
Crash against my fragile soul
Crystal flakes of white tears
Freeze and cling to my heart
Summers passion slowly beats
With a quiet singular song
Tunnels ending light
Reflecting chiseled granite walls
Pulling my eyes forward
A warming blanked of pure white
Wraps my body tight
Floating in singular rhythm
Final words to an old world
Down but not grounded
New world of two, rhythms unite
Drifting upward, lifting comfort
Moving, resting, sleeping calm
Dancing in perfect unison
