Running Days…

Posted on | September 23, 2008 | No Comments

I have recently since foot surgury re-dedicated my days to running. I use the Nike+ attachement with my iPod and it really does help, especially with tracking the runs, distance and time, but I like how it more accurately tells me how far my routes are and if I have a limited amout of time I can get a good run in and quickly.

What Matters

Posted on | September 23, 2008 | No Comments

The only thing that matters is Love and Respect.

**Share it with yourself**

**Share it with everyone you meet**

**Share it with your loved ones**

The more this is done, the healthier I get, the more Love I give the more at peace I will be, the more open I will be and in return I receive more of the same – Love.

Being afraid to change has been the problem – thinking that changing who I was, what I put out in the world, would change what I thought made me special, unique, or different. In reality, what I was doing was hiding from the world, hiding from myself, denying myself to live and be authentic, running from forgiveness and from awareness.

Being miserable did not make me special. It did not draw attention to me in the way we want to be thought of as loving beings. Being miserable having lack of self love and self respect, just makes you miserable.

Being Aware of this and letting the past go and living in the “now” is a path out.

I Believe

You said you needed to go
That you had to stand on your own
We both just knew, to make it the same
Over and over again, would crash us down

To make it better, yes to know more and more
You had to go, and go and go…..
Oh… but I had to see, see for the truth
And see it for myself and stand in the light

Floating in the dark, is where I have come from
And where I will be, is where I walk now
It’s where you will find me
Where you will see, see me open the spaces in my heart
And come back
Come back in the morning of the new moon
And we will see,
We will see the sun rise in this space

From the start, it was oh so close and oh so fast
But I believed
Believed it was how it was meant to be
Yes so close hour after hour we would grow,
And we danced and danced, but baby
We had to go and find our place
And there is no blame,
So I thank you for giving me my light…..

When you remember where you were, where we stood
Just remember where you will be,
Where I am,
Where we will believe,
When we can believe
We will come back, ohh and stand in the right,
And in the morning of the new moon
We will dance dance dance in those stars of the night

The truth is how we will be
So just please, please listen to me
Its all that you said….
Its all I can say, I sing it to you now
I left it all behind and here I come
Standing in my light and saying
Baby I believe its true.

And I will dance like a child in the wild
Open and free, free to shed all my fears
Just to dance across our hearts with a smile
Cause baby we will see…
I can now say the words I have written
And to live the words I have scratched across my time
And you can see
I have been saved and I wont let go….

Scene One:

OFFICE BUILDING PARKING LOT – MIDDAY

Woman drives up the driveway of the office building while Man walks out front door to greet her.
Woman is smiling brightly through the glass of the car, waves quickly and radiates warmth and beauty.
Man walks at even pace, slightly hunched over, awkwardly adjust his sport coat, looks briefly at the Woman in the car, glances around to people in the area, looks at his phone, fidgets with his hands, attempts a crooked smile and approaches the car.
Man opens car door.
Woman Speaks First

One of the most talented guitar singer songwriters I have seen in the most recent times. Amazing voice, simply stellar guitar playing and his original works are a graceful and beautiful mix of lyrics, chord progression and a perfect match for his voice style.

You can find him on iTunes as he just released his first album. You can also find him in YouTube for a good mix of Original Works and some amazing Covers like Leave from Glen Hansard and the movie Once, Postal Service’s Such Great Heights and a fantastic version of Ben Harper Show Me A Little Shame and Stevie Wonder Knocks Me Off My Feet.
